Last weekend saw Tynedale Archers hosting the Durham & Northumberland Indoor Championships at Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham. Over 100 archers from 23 different clubs came to post their best and compete for the hotly contested County Titles.
Tynedale Archers had a pretty good day out as well!
- County Champion – Barebow Women – Denise Jordon
- County Champion – Barebow Men – Rob Say
- Barebow Team Champions – Denise Jordon, Rob Say, Peter Louth
- Barebow Women U14 – 1st – Emily H
Huge congratulations also to Peter Louth (2nd BB Masters), Flis (2nd BB U18), Esme (2nd BB U14) and to all of the other ‘first time’ club competitors who put in such a good showing!
None of this could have happened with the the enormous amount of hard work put in by everyone at the club both before the event, on the day itself and in the days following – all the support and camaraderie is what makes the club a club!
