Tynedale Archers are linking up with the Vindolanda Trust for Archery Week at the Roman Army Museum

Tynedale Archers are proud to be working along side the Vindolanda Trust on their "Archery Week"  to be held at the Roman Army Museum at Chesterholm, Bardon Mill.  The event will take place between the 29th of July and the 4th of August with Tynedale Archers holding  "Have-A-Go" sessions every day for anyone who would like to try archery and also to look at some of the bows from the past to present. There will also be a Ermine Street Guard Archer on site so you can see how an archer in the Roman Army would have dressed and what sort of bow they would have carried.  Hope to see you there!
